4 Tips to Hosting

Here are my top 4 tips to get you thinking about your path to hosting, once, or over and over.

1. Check out hosting agencies around your area, which programs do they offer? Do they fit with your life?

    -Short term, long term, internship, cultural exchange, academic student

2. Do you have an extra bedroom/bed, a desk with a lamp?

    -Also, providing food and transportation, with or without, a stipend. And a caring heart?

3. Would you be able to care for a student by abiding by the program rules?

    -And encourage the student to as well. Their parents are trusting us!

4. Are you open to the adventures, learning curves and fun you can have?

    -Hosting with inquisitiveness and confidence make for a better experience.
