Manage Hosting Better: Life with Kids and a Foreign Exchange Student

I love doing interviews! There is an amount of wisdom that you can only gather from hearing someones personal experience, beyond what the experience an exchange program website claims you will have.

Anytime other host families would gather, I wanted to be there to learn from their trial and errors and hear their tips and tricks to creating a better experience. So valuable!

You don't have to wait for that time to gather! I bring you interviews with host parents (and exchange students) who have experienced different people, countries and programs to give you the best unbiased perspective in the hosting and exchanging world.

Today, we talk with Heather who is a two time host Mom, first of an intern and second of an exchange student, and find out how she balances life with 4 younger children and a student while keeping everyone’s schedules managed. Is there a learning curve to having a teenager in the house? Find out this, and more, as we ask Heather the important questions.
